Pricing Analyst

Department: Special Services
Position Reports to: Operations Manager
Direct Reports: None
Classification: Exempt, Full-time with benefits

Job Purpose:  Preparation of FAR/CAS compliant cost estimates in response to customer Requests for Estimates/Proposals (RFE/RFP).  The candidate will work closely with Capture Management, Technical Representatives, Contract Administrators, and Estimating Management in proposal preparation.  The successful candidate will support fact-finding exercises and DCAA Audits, and will support the basis of estimates (BOE) development process through analyzing inputs to test for rationale and reasonableness and ensure appropriate supporting documentation.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for providing timely, accurate and compliant proposal responses in accordance with RFP and FAR requirements.
  • Supports both existing programs and new business

Education / Training / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or related field required.
  • 7 + years of relevant work experience or equivalent relevant work experience.

The successful candidate must have hands on experience working with commercial cost estimating systems or in-house cost models. The candidate must be knowledgeable on Cost Reimbursable, Time & Material, and Fixed Price contract types, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Government accounting principles and standards, Truth in Negotiations Act, Government acquisition and proposal development processes, demonstrated ability to work under and enforce tight deadlines, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

The position requires the ability to independently lead proposal pricing response and may be required to mentor junior team members. Travel may be required for the position as well as the ability to work pricing efforts to conclusion against tight proposal deadlines.

Salary range is dependent on experience.
