Amy Dunkirk
Amy has been with SCS since 2004. She closely supports clients with contract issues and with accounting software implementations. Amy also assist companies with issues related to the Federal Travel Regulations.

Amy has an Associate's Degree from Phillips College in New Orleans, LA. She has 25 years accounting experience of which 16 years have been with government contractors. Her accounting software experience includes Deltek GCS Premier, Deltek Time & Expense, Jamis, Peachtree, and QuickBooks.

Marissa Hocson
Marissa joined SCS in June of 2009. Her experience includes 25+ years as a Consultant, Sr. Auditor, Contract Auditor, and Controller for commercial companies and government contractors. Marissa’s expertise in Accounting, Finance and Auditing includes managing financial functions of a business, implementing accounting software, designing and documenting processes, reporting, developing forecasts and budget reports. Marissa has conducted and supervised financial and compliance audits of government contracts, grants, programs and agencies. Marissa is proficient in accounting software notably Deltek and Quickbooks.

Marissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting, from the College of the Holy Spirit, Manila, Philippines and an MBA, Concentration in Finance and Controllership, from the University of Tennessee. She is also a CPA.

Julie Hodges
Julie joined SCS in 2005. Since that time she has worked with various Deltek products including GCS Premier, Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Impromptu. Prior to her employment at SCS, she supported products such as Abra Suite, Great Plains, Navison, SAP, Crystal Reports, and Jet Reports. She is a Certified Abra Trainer.

Julie's areas of expertise have been focused on the Human Resource modules of Costpoint and the Material Management modules of both GCS Premier and Costpoint.

Julie has worked in public accounting, health care, not-for-profit industry, and public company subsidiaries. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Payroll Associations East TN Chapter, and Oak Ridge Human Resource Association.

Julie received her degree from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Applied Science. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Kelly Peters
Kelly joined the SCS team in 2010. Her background includes roles as Financial Manager, Accounts Payable Manager, Financial Management & Reporting Analyst and Manager of Accounting Projects. Kelly’s expertise includes oversight of general audits including GSA, DCAA, state and local and working with DCAA for approval for budget and annual provisional indirect rates. She is experienced in managing system conversions from Deltek GCS to Deltek Costpoint, implementation of Deltek Costpoint, Cognos report writer and Deltek Performance Management.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory & Henry College, and an MBA in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University. Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant.

Susan Ramsey
Susan has been at SCS since 2004. Her experience with Deltek products includes GCS Premier, Time & Expense, and Impromptu. She also has experience with QuickBooks and Peachtree. She has over 15 years experience in government contracting and over 20 years experience in accounting. She also worked in public accounting for several years.

Susan attended Roane State Community College. She has also taken several classes on Deltek products including Impromptu and Time & Expense.

Laura Sproat
Laura Sproat joined the SCS staff in August 2009, coming directly from Deltek Inc. There she worked for 13 years as a senior support analyst, senior consultant and trainer for the GCS Premier, Cognos Impromptu, and Time and Expense products. She combines her Deltek experience with over 25 years experience in government contract accounting and 7 years in commercial accounting, specializing in DCAA audits, knowledge of FAR and CAS regulations, and indirect pool setup for maximum cost recovery. Her experience also includes knowledge of Solomon and McCormick and Dodge accounting systems.

Ms. Sproat currently supports several clients in all areas of accounting as well as designing and implementing accounting job cost systems for new clients. She is also a Certified Technical Trainer responsible for training clients and staff in maximizing their efficiency using the Deltek products.

Ms. Sproat holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Bridgewater College (Virginia) and a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix.
