Laura Davis
Laura combines more than 15 years experience in government cost accounting including supervising various accounting functions. This experience includes the design, implementation, and administration of new accounting job cost systems, specifically Deltek® Costpoint and System 1 (GCS Premier), JAMIS and Soloman IV. Her background also includes assisting contractors in DCAA compliances issues and preparing related reports.
Ms. Davis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lincoln Memorial University and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Tennessee. She is a CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Contract Management Association.
Ms. Davis has co-authored two articles published in Contract Management. “Strategies for Implementing Accounting Software” was published in June 2001 and “Successfully using Accounting Software” in November 2001.
Jane Longendorfer
Jane has over 20 years experience in system integration, development and design, database administration; concentratring in government accounting systems. She has been instrumental in data conversion from GCS Premier to Costpoint. She works closely with Microsoft Access databases.Ms. Longedorfer has a Master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Amy Dunkirk
Amy has been with SCS since 2004. She closely supports clients with contract issues and with accounting software implementations. Amy also assist companies with issues related to the Federal Travel Regulations.
Amy has an Associates Degree from Phillips College in New Orleans, LA. She has 20 years accounting experience of which 16 years have been with government contractors. Her accounting software experience includes Deltek GCS Premier, Deltek Time & Expense, Jamis, Peachtree, and QuickBooks.
Julie Hodges
Julie joined SCS in 2005. Since that time she has worked with various Deltek products including GCS Premier, Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Impromptu. Prior to her employment at SCS, she supported products such as Abra Suite, Great Plains, Navison, SAP, Crystal Reports, and Jet Reports. She is a Certified Abra Trainer.
Julie has worked in public accounting, health care, not-for-profit industry, and public company subsidiaries. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Payroll Associations East TN Chapter, and Oak Ridge Human Resource Association.
Julie received her degree from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Applied Science. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Linda Bui
Linda Bui started with SCS in 2005. She has worked in government contracting, using Deltek products for over 14 years. Linda supports clients with day-to-day accounting issues including payroll, billing, and general ledger support. She has supported various DCAA audits.
Linda has a BS degree in Business Management and Administration.
Michelle Gardner
Michelle Gardner started with SCS in 2004. She has a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. Michelle supports the internal staff at SCS, and also supports several clients in Accounts Payable and Payroll.
Michelle has used Deltek products for over 3 years. She also has experience with QuickBooks.
Susan Ramsey
Susan has been at SCS since 2004. Her experience with Deltek products includes GCS Premier, Time & Expense, and Impromptu. She also has experience with QuickBooks and Peachtree. She has over 15 years experience in government contracting and over 20 years experience in accounting. She also worked in public accounting for several years.
Susan attended Roane State Community College. She has also taken several classes on Deltek products including Impromptu and Time & Expense.
Tammy Russell
Miriam Petrie
Miriam started at SCS in 2006 after working at a government contractor in Oak Ridge. Her accounting software experience includes Deltek Costpoint, Deltek GCS Premier, QuickBooks, Best FAS, and JD Edwards.
Miriam received her degree from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Business Administration and a major in Accounting.
She has worked for various companies focusing on areas such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, Billing, and Accounts Receivable. Miriam has also assisted with indirect rate and budget development.
Laura McGhee
Laura started with SCS in 2006. Her accounting software experience includes Deltek GCS Premier, Time & Expense, QuickBooks, and Great Plains. She has worked for various companies during her career, some of which were also government contractors. Her primary work focus has been with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger Reconciliation.
Laura has attended Roane State Community College and Pellissippi State. She has taken several classes on Deltek products.
Lisa Coffman
Lisa joined SCS in 2007 with a strong background in Labor and Payroll for both Deltek GCS Premier and Costpoint. Lisa worked extensively with contracts involving the Service Contract Act and various Collective Bargaining Agreements. With Lisa's vast knowledge of payroll and labor, she was able to easily transition into Contracts and Billing.
Lisa's background has provided SCS with a strong multi-state labor/payroll resource, in additional to the SCA and CBA experience.
Lisa is currently working toward her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ashworth University.
Cindy Zichko
Cindy joined SCS in early 2008 with extensive experience with both Deltek GCS Premier and Costpoint. Cindy's experience has focused primarily on multi-state payroll for employees covered under the Service Contract Act and Collective Bargaining Agreements. Cindy has also support Canadian Payroll and Billing.
Additionally, Cindy has supported other areas of both GCs Premier and Costpoint, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
Cindy has an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting from Roane State.
